I need a cheap professional looking website?

I am in a band and we are looking into some cheap ways to get a website rolling… We own a domain… I guess we’re looking for the cheapest hosting and website design software?

I work on some cold fusion sites for work – but to get one of those to work for us would be way too costly…

Thanks!

www.110mb.com Free lots of bandwidth very good. 9,999 MySqL databases, about 300 gigs of bandwidth and 10 gigs of space for files. Integrated File manager. and 30 one click applications, like e107 content management systems and the newest versions of PHPBB. I’ve used it many times, reliable and FREE.

Depending on your experience. There is Macromedia Dreamweaver which offers different programming languages to utilize on your pages. For more advanced users i would recommend something like Microsoft Visual Studio. You can make ASP.net pages using either drag and drop type control or more advanced programming techniques.

    I would use Yahoo’s Geocities.
They have Site builder Software that is What You See Is What You Get. or WYSIWYG.
    They are very reasonable

Simply transfer your Domain to Yahoo’s Geocities and use there very simple software. The Site Builder Software is free to there customers.

  4. It really depends of what you are trying to accomplish with your website. If you just need something online and an address to put on your cards, then I would go with HostGator (http://ethanchesnut.com/host) and their free website builder or Yahoo as suggested. I personally would not use a free service for web hosting just because they have the right to cancel your service at anytime without notice.

If you are actually trying to build a following and get found through the search engines, I would recommend having someone do your website for you. You can find freelance web designers that can do a decent website for you, fairly inexpensively. I actually just started building websites for others and would be willing to talk to you and develop a game plan that will work best for you. Even if you do not want someone else doing your site, I may be able help you do your own.
